Elsie took one last turn as the Special Sapling. We started out day in the classroom painting spring flowers with the dot painters.
Elsie sat in the Special Sapling chair during story-time, and was very excited to pass around her big pink bunny that she won during the Easter egg hunt.
Mr. Dan passed out color cards, and each student had to find items in nature that matched their colors.
Elsie and I were excited to find a daffodil that had yellow in it for Elsie and red in it for Mommy's color card!
Does the moss on the tree trunk match a color on Elsie's card?
We had a tough time with the orange and peach colors, and the whole class was thrilled when we spotted this flower. Too bad the bumble bee was hanging out so close!
After an outdoor snack of fresh strawberries, we played a game of duck, duck, goose with Ms. Beth!
