We had record rainfall over a 3 day period, and unfortunately many things were flooded, including basements, yards, and roads. Even Elsie's school was closed for a week due to the flooding! Here is a nice view of the lake in our backyard. Other than this, we were very happy to have a nice, dry basement!
Well, the best thing about a lot of rain for this kids is a whole lot of puddles! Duncan had a blast jumping around in this puddle, which was continuously replenished by our neighbor's sump pump draining out onto the driveway.
