Christmas #2 with the Bullards

When we returned home from the farm, we were all very excited to try out our new toys. Elsie improvised a little and turned the Elephant into a blow-dryer! Duncan thought this was hilarious!
Betty found a new box to sit in. Just the perfect size for our little Betty.
Then J-Ma, Papa Pete, Uncle Pete and Aunt Kate came to visit. Uncle Pete and Aunt Kate have a great camera and were great photographers for the weekend.
Snuggling up with Papa Pete...
...and J-Ma!
Our serious little man with Aunt Kate.
And then it was Christmas #2!
You have to read the card first Duncan!
How does this toy work? "Can I have a quarter, please"
Chomp chomp chomp!
"Can I open another present?"
J-Ma made Elsie this super cool scarf.
Elsie was so excited!
Duncan got a elephant-bank and Elsie walked around collecting change for him too.
A talking Dora the Explorer!
And she comes with a camera in her backpack!
There's a smiley Duncan getting tickled by the turtle puppet.
"Can I try them on?" Elsie loves new clothes!
And wearing them all at once!
Hop on Uncle Pete!
Aunt Becky and Aunt Candice both Skyped in so we could share some Christmas with them, too.
Elsie had fun talking with her family on the computer.
Aunt Kate caught some great shots of Lazarus...
...and Betty.

Duncan is 34 weeks old

Duncan turned 34 weeks old four Wednesdays ago.
He started eating puffs this week! And we were really surprised to see him use the pincer grasp already with the very first puff!
He is still struggling to make the transition into his mouth, but he certainly enjoys trying!
Yum! Puffs!
We brought out the standing block table for Duncan. He still needs careful supervision, as he often slides right off the table!
He has enjoyed being able to stand while studying the table.
And Duncan is even thinking about crawling! He just started leaning over from a standing position.
As soon as he gets the leg free, he flops to his belly (and then starts crying within the next 10 seconds). But this is a very promising start!

Merry Christmas!

On Christmas Eve, we got all dressed up for church. Here is our little angel wearing her flower girl dress yet again!
While we were all sleeping, Santa Claus came to Grandma and Grandpa's house. He enjoyed some cookies, and the reindeer ate some of the carrots we left for them.
On Christmas morning, Duncan was the last one awake! We all waited rather impatiently in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Then it was finally time to head downstairs!
Santa brought Elsie and Duncan a wagon! They were both very excited to sit in the wagon for a ride. Elsie even got outside for a few rides, including a long one up to Leah's house and back!
Duncan was excited, but still waking up a bit!
We opened our stockings and found lots of great little things Santa brought us.
Elsie had asked for and received a black jacket from Santa, and Duncan got a cool, new jumper!
Of course, Duncan was pretty fascinated with the wrapping paper.
Elsie got a cookie set for Christmas. She really loves it! She can cut the cookies, bake them, and then feed them to Baby.
"You have to be quiet. Baby is sleeping."
Duncan was dressed in his Merry Christmas jumper from J-Ma.
And got a great should ride from Dad!
I love this picture! Our Elsie ballerina hard at work on her new tool set!
After a great Christmas dinner, Leah and Elsie had a great time playing a new game with Aunt Kris! I was surprised to learn that Elsie is old enough to play board games - she is getting so old!
And Jack helped out Grandma by washing down the counters...while wearing purple gloves. What a great son!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

We celebrated Grandma Jan's birthday with her at the farm. Duncan and Grandma spent some time playing together on the floor.
Duncan even shared his favorite monkey with Grandma!
Elsie and Leah pretended to be monsters!
And after Grandma's birthday dinner the girls chased Grandma around the house roaring their terrible roars!
