Elsie's and Mom's last day

Monday was our last day together before I go back to work. I took Elsie to daycare in the morning (we arrived only 1 hour late) for 3.5 hours for a practice run. We both cried a little - my tears were shed in the privacy of my car and Elsie's cries could be heard down the hallway as I arrived to pick her up. We will only get better with more practice.

Since she didn't sleep at daycare, she spent a good chunk of the afternoon sleeping. Then we played in the grass and took a nice leisurely walk. I have really enjoyed spending so much time with my daughter over the last 12 weeks!
