Kristi did a fantastic job in labor, and needed only 15 minutes of pushing to deliver Duncan. They wasted no time in getting acquainted.

Jack opted to start immediately conditioning Duncan to be a fan of the correct sports teams.


Grandma Jan and big sister Elsie stopped by for a visit later in the day. Elsie was interested to see how Duncan would respond to a friendly poke on the nose.

After some initial shyness, Elsie eventually worked up the courage to hold her new little brother (just long enough for a photo).
