Hanging with Dad

Elsie brought her cow lawn mower outside last weekend to help Dad. After a few reinforcements, she now understands that Dad's lawn mower is the big red one, and Elsie's is the one that goes "Moooo!"

I just found this photo on the camera! So cute. Elsie and Jack must have been having a great time one night when I was not home! Sieve hat!
Now this is really funny! Elsie's first credit card application came in the mail last week!!

Sunday Funday

Elsie looked so cute dressed for church, so we decided to take a few pictures at our old favorite spot!
Hmmm. I don't think standing on the chair is allowed!

I love my pillow!!

In the afternoon, we played in the sprinkler!

Morton Arboretum

J-Ma and Papa Pete came into town for a long July 4 weekend. They watched Elsie while Jack and I took a quick trip to LA for a wedding. Once we were all together again, we hit the Children's Garden at the Morton Arboretum.

They have a few streams and ponds that the kids can walk around in. Elsie, of course, loved this!
Elsie got really good on this bridge - even making it back and forth by herself! Such a big girl!

Bullard family reunion in Georgia

We went down to Georgia for a Bullard family reunion (Aunts, Uncles, and cousins). First we stopped in Atlanta to meet up with Candice and Josh. We squeezed in a quick trip to see Jaci and the Chislets. Here is Elsie (second from left) with the Chislets (Jake, Grace, and Ben) at snack time.
We drove to a lake near Augusta and stayed in cabins for the weekend. Elsie loved the beach. Such a big girl now - walking around in the water all by herself.
Maneuvering through the waves so carefully! There were a lot of boats in the area, so we got to experience some nice waves!!
Elsie spent a lot of time playing with the rocks on the beach. She likes to pick them up, hand them to us, and then knock them out of our hands. She also likes to take the smaller rocks and rub them on our legs. These rocks were really beautiful and she kept a few of her favorites in her hands for a long time that morning!
We played in the lake again in the afternoon with all of the cousins. Elsie loves the 1...2...3...jump game. She doesn't jump until she is completely out of the water - but it is, at least, a good workout for mom!

After a crazy storm blew through, we enjoyed a beautiful evening on the lake.

Mommy's helper

Elsie tries to help with chores around the house. Here she is helping with the laundry - on this day it was pushing the buttons on the washing machines. On other days, it is taking the clean laundry out of the basket and throwing them on the floor!
