We finally took the kids to see Santa and Mrs. Claus. Elsie was pretty excited, and Duncan wasn't so sure. But there weren't any tears!!
In fact, a local group in Elmhurst hosted a fantastic breakfast where we got to meet the Clauses, dance to a live band, and enjoy a yummy breakfast! Duncan and Elsie had a lot of fun dancing around with the other kids.
Afterwards, we hopped on a horse-drawn sleigh at another local event. Yummy Santa hat Elsie!
The previous weekend, we enjoyed a very pleasant evening at the Brookfield Zoo, oohing and aahing at the lights, singing along with the carolers, and even meeting Frosty the Snowman! Duncan was super excited about Frosty, but was not interested in getting too close.
