Once all of the prep work was complete, we got dressed up in our Christmas finest for Christmas Eve dinner.
Duncan was all smiles once he was free from Elsie's grasp!

Time to read "Elf on the Shelf" one more time before it gets put away for next year! It is time for our elf, Gary, to go home with Santa tonight!
We had a delicious prime rib dinner for Christmas Eve - a more recent Bullard tradition.
Duncan wanted to make sure Mulberry had enough to eat, too.
Then it was time to snuggle up in bed and read "The Night Before Christmas." Elsie was really into it. Duncan was more interested in the really big bed!
