On the morning of Duncan's birthday we all gathered around to open presents! Grandma and Grandpa were there too!
Duncan was excited to get a new drill to go with his new workbench. He kept putting it in his mouth, and I was a little confused...until I realized that he thought it was an electric toothbrush! Once we showed him how to use it on the workbench, he was good to go!
Duncan's favorite gift was the orange guitar. Well, its actually a ukulele, but we call it a guitar, since he is used to seeing Miss Brenna's guitar at music class.
It was hard to get Duncan interested in anything else that morning!

Once we pried the guitar out of his hands, Duncan got back to opening presents, including a fire truck toy from Grandma and Grandpa!
That evening, we had a few friends over for dinner, cake, and ice cream. What could be more perfect for Duncan than a basketball cake?!

Duncan did great with the candles. He knew exactly what to do, thanks to the toy birthday cake we have. And he blew them both out!
